Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Predicta collects, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It covers the Predicta website and the Predicta mobile app for iOS and Android.
1. Who we are
Predicta ("we", "us", "our") operates the Predicta website at predicta.tips and the Predicta mobile application for iOS and Android (together, the "Service"). The Service publishes football predictions, match statistics, and related content.
For the purposes of applicable data-protection laws — including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — Predicta is the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy.

2. What personal data we collect
We only collect the data we actually need to operate the Service. The categories below are exhaustive for the current version of Predicta.
2.1 Account data
When you sign in, we create an account containing:
- Email address — the primary key for your account.
- Sign-in provider identifier — either a Google subject ID (
googleSub) or an Apple user ID (appleId), depending on which provider you used. - Display name and avatar URL — as returned by the sign-in provider, if you chose to share them.
- Password — only for App Store reviewer accounts explicitly provisioned for store-review testing. Regular users do not have a password stored with us; authentication goes through Google or Apple.
2.2 Service activity data
To deliver the features of the Service we record:
- Login activity — last login timestamp and login streak so we can display continuity features.
- Platform — whether a specific action came from the iOS app, Android app, or the web, stored alongside the action.
- Coin balance and VIP status — including the VIP expiry date.
- Tip purchases — a record of each premium tip you unlock with in-app coins, linked to the tip identifier and the price paid.
- Rewarded-ad unlocks — which tips you revealed by watching a rewarded ad, together with the reward type and the time of the unlock.
- In-app marketplace purchases and subscription records — receipt data returned by the App Store, Google Play, or Adapty (our mobile-purchase infrastructure provider). We do not receive or store your credit- card number at any point.
- Gamification activity — fortune-wheel spins, shuffle games, referral events, and Telegram-reward completions.
- Support tickets — the subject, description and message history of any support ticket you open with us.
- Notification-read state — which in-app notifications you have marked as read.
- Referral code — a numeric identifier generated for you so friends can credit you when they sign up. When you refer a friend the pairing is stored to prevent duplicate referrals even after one side deletes their account.
- System logs — a concise record of the action, the user it was performed for, and the originating platform. These logs power the admin activity feed and help us investigate bugs and fraud.
2.3 Data we do not collect
We want to be explicit about what is not collected:
- No device advertising identifier (IDFA / AAID).
- No precise GPS / location data.
- No payment card numbers or bank details.
- No contact list, photos, microphone, or camera access.
- No third-party behavioural analytics or cross-site tracking on the website.
3. How we use your data
We process your personal data only for the purposes and on the legal bases set out below.

4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers listed below, and only to the extent needed for them to perform their role.
- Google LLC — for Google Sign-In authentication.
- Apple Inc. — for Sign in with Apple authentication.
- Adapty — for managing mobile subscriptions and validating in-app purchase receipts from the App Store and Google Play.
- Apple App Store & Google Play — the platforms through which paid subscriptions and consumable products are sold; they process payments and share receipt data back with us.
- Telegram Messenger — for users who opt into our Telegram-reward integration, we exchange the minimum identifiers necessary to verify reward completion.
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, content delivery, and managed database providers that process data on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose personal data when required by law (for example to respond to a court order or a valid request from a public authority) or to protect our rights, users, or property.
5. Cookies and local storage
The Predicta website uses local storage to remember your preferred colour theme (light / dark), the last matchday you viewed, and your cookie-consent choice. These values never leave your browser.
With your consent — gathered via the cookie banner shown on first visit — we also load the following third-party tools that set their own cookies:
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) — measures aggregate site usage so we can improve the website. We do not use this data for advertising and have not enabled the Google Signals or audience-sharing features. - Tawk.to live chat (
__tawkuuid,Tawk_*) — keeps your chat session attached to a consistent identifier so support replies reach you.
If you reject the banner, neither tool loads and no cookies from them are set. You can revisit your decision at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
The mobile app uses the device's secure keychain / keystore to keep you signed in between sessions.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it's needed:
- Account data — for as long as your account exists.
- Service activity (tip purchases, subscriptions, ad unlocks, gamification) — for the lifetime of the account or as required for warranty, accounting and tax purposes.
- Support tickets — up to 24 months after the last reply, so we can handle follow-up questions.
- System logs — up to 12 months, for operational and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Receipts / invoices — for the period required by applicable tax law (typically up to 10 years).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Access — ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your account and the associated data. You can trigger this directly from the Predicta mobile app (Settings → Delete account); the request cascades across tip purchases, rewarded-ad records, marketplace purchases, fortune-wheel state, Telegram rewards, subscriptions, support tickets, notification-read state and system logs. A minimal referral pairing is preserved to prevent fraud, as noted above.
- Restriction and objection — ask us to restrict processing or object to it on grounds relating to your situation.
- Portability — receive a machine-readable copy of the data you provided to us.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time (without affecting processing already carried out).
- Lodge a complaint — with your local data- protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The Predicta Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete the account and associated data as soon as possible.
9. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS / TLS), role-based access controls on internal tooling, password hashing (for reviewer accounts), and server-side redaction of sensitive content before it leaves our backend. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to harden ours against known threats.
10. International transfers
Personal data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including by the service providers listed in section 4. Where such transfers take place, we rely on appropriate safeguards (for example, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) or on an adequacy decision covering the destination country.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service or the law. When we do, we revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If the changes are material we will notify you prominently through the app or website before they take effect.
